Alison and Travis are one of those couples that I know Ill always keep in touch with. When I first met with Alisons Mom and Dad for a bridal consult (while Alison was at school) we hit it off right away. Dena is SO much like my mom and the rest is all history! Everything this couple does is as a family and I love that about them. When wed have bridal meetings, the whole family would come. When we did Alisons bridals, Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa came. Such a sweet family they are.

Alison and Travis got married on a perfect day in Texas in October at Ruby Caroline in Gatesville. Its one of those unique venues where you can decorate/design/DIY however youd like-the opportunities at this venue are literally endless. The venue has a really neat cottage/bridal suite filled with tons of vintage shabby chic furniture, which the owners let them take outside to decorate for the wedding and use for pictures! Rubys BBQ (YUM) catered the event. Alisons dress was gorgeous and all the guys (and girls) rocked their cowboy gear. I loved it. Love love loved it. Alisons sister had the sweetest toast, as she started to tear up she said Im an ugly cryer and Travis brother Austin left no dry eye in the crowd. Alison surprise her mom with a special Mom/Daughter dance. The whole day was just fabulous. The decorated with cans painted with pink hearts with T+A and candle glow, strings of family pictures, the trees were wrapped in twinkle lights, and there were lit chandeliers in the trees and the cutest Bride/Groom bench that the brides dad Gary made from a headboard, and some of the cutest cake tables Ive ever seen. They sent everyone home with flashlights!

The week after the wedding, Alisons parents surprised me at the airport (I was coming back for a double header wedding weekend) because I left my stool at the wedding. They are some of the sweetest people Ive ever met. Im hoping when Alisons sister meets the one that Ill get to come back and photograph the event Enjoy my favs of their special day!
